Captain Ronnie Zajdel has been on the water since he could first walk.  He spent his childhood fishing with his father Captain Zip Zajdel on the bay.  At a young age he worked as a commercial crabber.  He spent his youth and teenage years working as a mate on his father’s charter boat.  Eventually the desire to operate the boat himself set in and he decided to obtain his captain’s license.  He now works as a Captain on The Zipper as well as other boats.  Although he works as a Captain he spends the majority of his time working as the Mate for his father Captain Zip.

Captain Zip Zajdel has been on the water since he was a young boy.  He spent most of his childhood on the local rivers of the Chesapeake Bay catching perch or whatever would bite!  His passion was always Rockfishing with his family on the Chesapeake Bay.  Eventually his desire for bigger fish brought him to the Ocean in the early 1990’s where he has been targeting tuna ever since. He has participated in many offshore fishing tournaments for tuna and marlin and has placed in many including the Ocean City White Marlin Open.  He has also been named MSSA Bluewater Captain of the Year.
